Refund Policy
This Booking Cancellation, Refund & Security Deposit Policy applies to all reservations managed by Home Away From Home Developments Inc. (“HAH Developments”) through platforms including Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, direct bookings, and third-party booking systems including Guesty PMS.
Cancellation Policy
Non-Refundable Period
Any reservation cancelled within 30 to 40 days prior to the scheduled check-in date shall be considered non-refundable.
Partial Refund Eligibility
Reservations cancelled approximately 95 to 110 days prior to the scheduled check-in date may qualify for a partial refund, subject to management review and operational considerations.
No-Show Policy
Guests who fail to arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior notice shall be classified as a No-Show and no refund shall be issued.
Early Departure
No refunds or credits shall be provided for unused nights or voluntary early departures.
Security Damage Deposit Policy
Deposit Requirement
Certain reservations may require a refundable security damage deposit prior to check-in.
Refund Timeline
Security damage deposits are generally refunded within 10 to 15 business days following check-out and property inspection.
Conditions for Refund
Deposits shall only be refunded if the property is left in acceptable condition with no damages, missing items, excessive cleaning requirements, smoking violations, unauthorized parties, or house rule violations.
Deduction Rights
HAH Developments reserves the right to partially or fully retain the security deposit for damages, excessive cleaning, odor removal, missing inventory, municipal fines, or operational losses caused during the stay.
Force Majeure
HAH Developments shall not be held liable for cancellations, interruptions, or losses caused by events beyond reasonable control including natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, utility failures, or severe weather conditions.
Platform-Specific Policies
Reservations made through Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, or other third-party platforms may additionally be subject to the terms and policies of those respective platforms.

Acceptance of Terms
By confirming and proceeding with a reservation at any property managed by Home Away From Home Developments Inc., the guest confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Booking Cancellation, Refund & Security Deposit Policy.
